Competition Law

We have advised overseas entities having a business connection in India on the applicability of competition law in relation to their proposed mergers, acquisitions, and other similar arrangements and whether permission from the Competition Commission of India would be required. Chadha & Co. was one of the first Indian law firms to have advised on the area of Indian Competition law on ongoing global deals, after the coming up of the Competition Commission of India (Procedure in regard to the transaction of business relating to combination) Regulations, 2011 (the "Combination Regulations") under the Competition Act, 2002 (the "Competition Act").
